Womenade assists men, women, and children by providing financial assistance for basic living expenses such as food, rent, utilities, car repairs, and gas. Catamount Womenaid provides local people with emergency financial assistance that is not readily available through other resources. Financial assistance for basic living expenses such as food, rent, utilities, car repairs, and gas. Money is given without red tape. Our maximum assistance is $1000. Recipients are eligible once every 24 months. Out of area request maximum is $500. ***We cannot accept requests directly from the person who needs assistance.***

The Assistance Program provides a short term safety net for those who do not qualify for government assistance or for whom that assistance is insufficient or delayed. Corpus Christi will assist with financial aid for those whose utilities are about to be shut off and assistance paying for rent on a case by case basis.

SHARE helps with: Housing (rent, security deposits, park rent, etc.); Transportation (car payments, registrations, car repairs); Heat (oil, propane, etc.); Water and Medical and Dental Expenses including prescriptions.

They provide anonymous, short-term financial assistance, which may not be available elsewhere, to eligible individuals and families when a small amount of money will make a significant difference. ** All requests must come from an agency, which can verify need and eligibility for assistance. ** Womenaid does NOT accept requests by people on behalf of themselves, nor requests from the vendors to be paid. ** Maximum amount per in-area request within a 12-month period: $800.00 (Portsmouth, Kittery, Newington, New Castle, Greenland, Rye) ** All contact is done via email.
