Exeter Hospital and Core Physicians have developed a musculoskeletal center that brings multiple practices together to enable collaboration, convenience and patient-centered care. Our innovative new destination center brings team-based care to one convenient location.

Provides IV Therapy in the comfort and privacy of your own home. IV Therapy can be used to treat dehydration, malnourishment, a severe drop in blood pressure, and many other conditions and afflictions. It can also provide the emergency delivery of certain medications and chemotherapy to patients.

YMCA Programs: Squeaky Sneakers is a program for children 18 months to three-year olds and their parents. Each class includes a variety of activities to help develop motor coordination, balance, hand-eye coordination and socialization skills.

The MS Focus Health and Wellness Program offers you the opportunity to participate in various forms of adaptive exercise or alternative therapy. Where there are a sufficient number of people interested, classes are formed. Where classes are not available, individuals may apply for full or partial funding to participate in activities through local gyms, fitness facilities, and wellness centers. Across the country, MS Focus has sponsored classes and programs for individuals including: yoga; aquatics; exercise and fitness; therapeutic horseback riding; adaptive sports and recreation; art therapy and dance therapy All classes are led by qualified instructors, and most are free of charge for the attendees. These therapies are designed to assist in symptom management and pain relief, as well as to help improve physical and emotional health.

Northeast Passage’s Community/Home Based Recreational Therapy program is a health promotion/prevention program currently available to individuals with disabling conditions. Services are currently offered as a value added benefit to members of the U.S. Family Health Plan at Martin’s Point Health Care and the Manchester, NH Veteran’s Administration. The program uses a multifaceted approach that combines education, application and psychosocial support systems to address a client’s individualized needs. The goal of this health-promoting program is to attain and maintain health and decrease the occurrences of secondary conditions of disability, resulting in an enhanced quality of life. The program is administered by Licensed Therapeutic Recreation Specialists who use recreational activities that are relevant to a client’s life in a purposeful way in order to meet personal goals and accomplish functional outcomes. Therapists work hand-in-hand with clients, families, friends and treatment teams to address personal goals, improve overall quality of life, and to invest in personal health, functional fitness and independence. By engaging in physical activity and pursuing experiences that gives one’s life meaning, individuals with disabilities can maintain a health promoting lifestyle.

The goal of the grant is to provide you with goods or services that will improve your life, but are not available through our other programs. These items range in value, with a max of $1,000 per recipient, and can vary from household essentials to hobby supplies. The Brighter Tomorrow Grant is only open from June 1st - September 1st. Applications submitted outside of this window will not be accepted.

Northeast Passage’s School Based Recreational Therapy program (TREK – Therapeutic Recreation Empowering Kids™) is designed to work with parents, students, administrators, physical education, special education or classroom teachers, as well as other related service providers, to ensure equal opportunity for students with physical and developmental disabilities. The program’s mission is to facilitate the inclusion of students into the school curriculum (including Phys. Ed.), sports, after school programs, or summer programs. Through the use of adaptive equipment, direct instruction, and a focus on social awareness, students can upgrade their skills to a level where inclusive participation in recreation-based activities is successful. Therapeutic Recreation is defined in the IDEA as a related service.

Cornerstone VNA is a non-profit home, health and hospice agency currently serving Rockingham, Strafford, Belknap and Carroll Counties in NH and York County in Maine. The team at the VNA uses the latest technology to provide the most highly skilled nursing, rehabilitative therapies, social work, and support services in their service area. Certified Specialty programs include Wound & Ostomy Care, Mental Health Nursing, Intravenous Therapy, Chronic Care Management, Hospice & Palliative Care, Pain Management and Telehealth services for patients of all ages.
