Outreach services include: 1. Behavior Consultation for Families: For individuals ages three and up, Birchtree’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) provide training and guidance to individuals, family members, and caregivers to help increase clients’ well-being and productivity at home, at work, and in their communities. 2. Coaching & Consultation for Adults: For adults with autism and other disabilities, a Birchtree Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) can help adults develop strategies to increase their well-being and productivity at home, at work, and in the community. 3. Behavior Consultation & ABA Therapy Services for Schools & Agencies: Some school districts and agencies partner with Birchtree’s experts to promote students’ educational and behavioral progress. Birchtree’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) provide consultation, assessments, staff training, staff supervision, and program evaluations. This includes autism services as well as services to benefit students with other disabilities, school avoidance, trauma history, and more. To help implement students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), some districts also bring in Birchtree’s Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Clinical Instructors to provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services in classroom or home settings. 4. Training & Workshops for School & Agency Staff: Birchtree’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts and other specialists offer professional development workshops and training on topics including autism, behavior reduction, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and more. 5. Community Education & Training: Birchtree teams up with local organizations to offer online and in-person workshops and training. Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital uses an interdisciplinary team approach that includes physical, speech and occupational therapists, rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, dietitians and more, combined with our advanced technology and expertise, to help you achieve your goals. You will receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week while under the constant care of registered nurses, many of whom specialize in rehabilitation, and frequent independent private practice physician* visits.

St Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center has three distinct nursing units designated for residents according to care needs including short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing, dementia and memory impairment, and long-term care. Almost two thirds of St. Vincent's 80 licensed beds offer private accommodations. Additionally, religious services are regularly provided in the chapel. JCAHO Accredited, Medicare and Medicaid approved.

GSIL’s Information and Referral offers a wide range of topics on living more independently, such as follows: Discovering more about GSIL services and how to become a GSIL consumer, obtaining funding for adaptive equipment, home modification and adapted vehicles, locating assistance for finding and maintaining employment, learning about transportation options in the community, discovering how to obtain a service dog, learning about vendors, organizations and agencies that can provide goods and services, finding out about housing alternatives and funding assistance for housing.

Offers a year long recreation program facilitated by staff and volunteers. Activities encourage development of communication and social skills through modeling and practice. Individualized skills and goals are identified and worked on through group play and exploration in the community. Some online options may be available through Zoom. Also offers an in-person summer camp called Camp Aspire. Activities include boating, cooking over a fire, hiking, horseback riding and arts and crafts.

With eight convenient locations, Exeter Hospital rehabilitation offers comprehensive physical and occupational therapy for all orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Our therapists continually strive to develop their expertise in orthopedics through high level training and certification including hand therapy and orthopedics. Northeast Passage’s Community/Home Based Recreational Therapy program is a health promotion/prevention program currently available to individuals with disabling conditions. Services are currently offered as a value added benefit to members of the U.S. Family Health Plan at Martin’s Point Health Care and the Manchester, NH Veteran’s Administration. The program uses a multifaceted approach that combines education, application and psychosocial support systems to address a client’s individualized needs. The goal of this health-promoting program is to attain and maintain health and decrease the occurrences of secondary conditions of disability, resulting in an enhanced quality of life. The program is administered by Licensed Therapeutic Recreation Specialists who use recreational activities that are relevant to a client’s life in a purposeful way in order to meet personal goals and accomplish functional outcomes. Therapists work hand-in-hand with clients, families, friends and treatment teams to address personal goals, improve overall quality of life, and to invest in personal health, functional fitness and independence. By engaging in physical activity and pursuing experiences that gives one’s life meaning, individuals with disabilities can maintain a health promoting lifestyle.
