Harbor Care is uniquely designed to support your recovery journey-with or without insurance. No one is turned away, regardless of ability to pay. A full range of quality residential and outpatient services are offered so that we can accompany clients on their journeys from the first time they consider treatment to long-term recovery. We offer: outpatient treatment, including our High Intensity Outpatient Program (PHP and IOP); treatment for pregnant and parenting women and their children at the Cynthia Day Family Center; Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid and/or alcohol dependence; long-term recovery support counseling and groups statewide with our Peer Recovery Support Services; and services for the Rockingham County Drug Court. We're dedicated to partnering with schools to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of its staff, student body and their families. We work on-site and through telehealth, side-by-side with school social workers, nurses, teachers and administrators to being health care and supportive services not just to the students who need it most, but also students' families and school faculty. We're with our community all of the way! We help youth and their loved ones access specialty care providers and social services, often working with our school nurse partners. We also connect families with systems and ensure long-term supports are in place for students with behavioral health issues. With specialized treatment that may include child care and transportation for parents in need of behavioral health care, we take a holistic, whole-family approach to ensuring health and wellness.

Provides information to reduce the incidence of injury death & disability through prevention and intervention. Extensive resources regarding seat belts & car safety seats, fire safety, drowning prevention, playground safety, home injury prevention, bicycle safety, firearm safety, etc. Also maintains a list of resources for obtaining a bike helmet for children at a low cost.

Comprehensive program that covers the 5 pre-employment transition services hosted at community college campuses and GSIL offices throughout New Hampshire. In small groups (16 students max) students work through an academic curriculum presented as a simulated work environment with soft skills training braided throughout. Students will have the opportunity to earn academic credit through Extended Learning Opportunities (ELOs), become more aware of career options, and have work-based learning experiences out in the community to obtain a fuller understanding of employer expectations. There are 3 cohorts offered each year - Fall and Spring sessions (14 weeks), as well as Summer sessions (5 weeks). Scheduling for each session is as follows: • 4 days/week of academic instruction • 1 day/week of a work experience • Afternoon Computer Lab is also available for credit recovery

Behavior Consultation for Families: For individuals ages three and up, Birchtree’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) provide training and guidance to individuals, family members, and caregivers to help increase clients’ well-being and productivity at home, at work, and in their communities. 2. Coaching & Consultation for Adults: For adults with autism and other disabilities, a Birchtree Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) can help adults develop strategies to increase their well-being and productivity at home, at work, and in the community. 3. Behavior Consultation & ABA Therapy Services for Schools & Agencies: Some school districts and agencies partner with Birchtree’s experts to promote students’ educational and behavioral progress. Birchtree’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) provide consultation, assessments, staff training, staff supervision, and program evaluations. This includes autism services as well as services to benefit students with other disabilities, school avoidance, trauma history, and more. To help implement students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), some districts also bring in Birchtree’s Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Clinical Instructors to provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services in classroom or home settings. 4. Training & Workshops for School & Agency Staff: Birchtree’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts and other specialists offer professional development workshops and training on topics including autism, behavior reduction, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and more. 5. Community Education & Training: Birchtree teams up with local organizations to offer online and in-person workshops and training.
