Nashua PAL provides free after school programming at the PAL Youth Safe Haven located at 52 Ash Street. The Center offers homework help, mentoring, various enrichment programs, and recreational activities. Nashua PAL also offers Juvenile Court Diversion along with a host of sports programs for youth, including football, cheerleading, basketball, street hockey, cross country, track and field, and boxing (adult and youth for boxing only).

Free one-on-one or small group tutorials are available for learners who need basic reading and math instruction. Please note that Keene Community Education offers HiSET testing (not GED testing.)

The Adult Learner Services Program offers free, basic educational services for adult New Hampshire residents who for various reasons can not attend our regular classes but might benefit from one-on-one help. All materials and on-going support are provided.

Students learn English language skills through speaking, listening, reading and writing in our English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. All area residents who are over 18 years old and need to improve their English language skills are welcome to attend. Refugees, immigrants and visitors to the United States connect and support each other as they learn English.

The Civics class prepares students for the US citizenship application, test and interview. The NorthStar program teaches students basic computer skills needed to use a computer and internet in daily life. The Nashua Adult Learning Center is an approved NorthStar location. The NH Work Ready Class helps prepare people for the work force, build confidence and skills.

This section of the Federal Department of Education also has: checklists, college preparation information, resources for military families, and more. Some of the information is available in Braille. Our School Age Child Care Programs offer a blend of fun and educational activities, including dedicated homework time, physical fitness, creative arts, thematic programming, STEM experiences, and more.

This grant program is available through a partnership with the Division of Children Youth and Families, Deparment of Health and Human Resources. This tuition assistance is applied toward the cost of one ECE course per term. The goal of this program is to enable individuals working in the field to increase in knowledge and skills, ultimately obtaining and maintaining the NH Early Childhood Professional Development Credential. CCSNH students, employed at least part-time in a NH licensed or license exempt early childhood program, are invited to apply.

Provides information to reduce the incidence of injury death & disability through prevention and intervention. Extensive resources regarding seat belts & car safety seats, fire safety, drowning prevention, playground safety, home injury prevention, bicycle safety, firearm safety, etc. Also maintains a list of resources for obtaining a bike helmet for children at a low cost.

When families are struggling with their Federal Student Loan Payments, they can call the helpline and speak with an expert who will find programs to reduce their payment and/or seek loan forgiveness programs.

Our staff helps NH and VT families find resources and services to meet basic needs, make connections, and get support. We offer a wide range of educational classes and groups for free, and all are welcome. For NH families, we provide Healthcare Coordination for families raising children with chronic healthcare conditions, and Community-Based Voluntary Services to preserve families at risk. We also offer diapers, and other products to meet basic needs.

This program is under the auspices of the Hopkinton Human Services Department. It is funded by donations. The Back to School Program provides clothes and school supplies to students in need in Hopkinton.
