Agency looks at discrimination in: employment, public accommodations, the sale or rental of housing or commercial property, due to age, sex, sexual orientation, race, creed, color, marital status, familial status, disability or national origin. The agency can investigate complaints of discrimination. The agency also provides education designed to prevent discrimination.

The DRC provides advice and legal representation to individuals with disabilities on a wide range of disability-related problems. They can help advocate for legal rights in the areas of: - Special Education - Employment - Housing - Assistive Technology - Access to, or Discrimination in, Mental Health, Developmental Disability, and Brain Injury Services - Medical and Financial Assistance - Vocational Rehabilitation - The Elimination of Physical Barriers in Public Accommodations - Access to Voting and other Fundamental Civil Rights - Freedom from Abuse, Neglect, and Unwarranted Restraint and Seclusion.

603 Legal Aid provides help to clients with problems in the following areas: 1. Family: Domestic violence, divorce, separation, annulment, adoption, child custody, interstate custody, child support, guardianship; 2. Benefits and welfare: Town and city welfare, unemployment insurance, public housing, Social Security, Medicaid, Food Stamps, disability benefits, SSI and Temporary Aid to Needy Families (TANF); 3.Housing: Landlord/tenant disputes, eviction, housing discrimination, housing preservation, public housing, Section 8, and housing conditions; 4. Consumer: Debt collection, auto repossession, bankruptcy, and consumer protection; 5. Criminal Annulment; 6. Foreclosure Relief
