Educational programs about the prevention of sexual assault and domestic violence

Presentations for community organizations, schools, social service agencies, medical and legal professionals, business owners and law enforcement are developed to raise awareness and understanding of domestic and sexual violence and stalking.

Turning Points Network (TPN) offers a variety of programs to civic organizations, business groups, churches and other interested groups. Programs are presented on topics including TPNs’ crisis and support services, domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment and stalking. Turning Points Network provides training for service providers, educators and professionals in other fields. TPNs' school based education and outreach program is offered to elementary, middle, high and post-secondary students. It focuses on providing information, resources and skills to students, parents and staff.

- In person, phone and online support for survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Merrimack County. Services are available to everyone, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, income or physical abilities. - Advocates can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide free and confidential services. - Prevention education programs also available to the community.

HAVEN is dedicated to the prevention of child sexual abuse, sexual assault and stalking, while supporting victims, survivors and others impacted by sexual violence. Staff available to accompany survivors of sexual assault to police stations, hospitals, and courts. Hotline available 24/7 Emergency shelter for anyone fleeing imminent danger due to Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault or Stalking. We offer various support groups.

We support children who have been put in contact with our organization following the verification of reported abuse to law enforcement, Child Protective Services (CPS). school staff, a therapist, doctor or mental health professional.

Response offers no cost presentation/trainings to social service organizations, police and medical personnel, court officials and other members of the community. Prevention programming is also offered to K-12 students, and their care givers, staff, and faculty.

Presentations related to domestic and sexual violence are available to local schools, businesses, and civic groups. Trainings are tailored to each audience and include presentations on the following topics: Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault Education & Prevention, Healthy Teen Relationships & Dating Violence Prevention, Bullying, Sexual Harassment, Media Images & Gender Stereotypes. Bridges also maintains a library of information related to domestic violence and sexual assault.
