All proceeds go back into supporting Families in Transition programs. *Vouchers from other human services agencies (i.e. city welfare, St. Vincent de Paul) are accepted for clothing. Outfitters will only issue store vouchers for clients of Families in Transition.

The Share Fund Thrift Store, formerly the Community Clothing Shop is located at the James Foley Memorial Community Center in Rochester (150 Wakefield St.). The shop offers very low cost shopping for the general public and FREE shopping for families in need (with agency referral).

DHHS can issue vouchers for the Goodwill Thrift shop for clothing. Voucher assistance for emergency situations on a case-by-case basis. The Laconia branch of the Department of Health & Human Services is the issuing agency of clothing vouchers that can be used specifically at Goodwill, these vouchers are issued on a case specific, case-by-case basis.

Donated items available to residents. A clothing rack is available to anyone in need.

Thrift shop open to the public

Provides clothing to needy residents of Chester, NH. The Chester Clothes Closet has non-perishable emergency food supplies for Chester residents only. Donations of the following are accepted: clothing, shoes/boots, winter outerwear, ties, belts, purses, hats, caps, scarves, gloves, mittens. Clothing should be in gently used condition. Due to space constraints the following donations are NOT accepted: underwear, slips, socks, bathing suits, toys, books, games, household items, baby furniture and products, appliances, sports equipment.

Friends of Forgotten Children has a clothing boutique for childrenand adults.

Temporary financial assistance and assistance with applying for benefits. Expenses assistance includes: camp scholarships for children and prescriptions.

S.C.A.R.E. provides Halloween costumes to any family who needs them at no charge. We do ask you limit it to 1 costume per person so that others can also find something to wear. There is a waiver form that MUST BE SIGNED so an adult must be present during the event.

Provides gently used coats, windbreakers, scarves, mittens and caps, free to anyone in need. The clothing is given out from November to April.

We collect costumes year round. We attend community events as often as we are able. If people wish to help/volunteer, they simply need to reach out. We are always looking for help.

Thrift store is a resource for housing program residents and other members of the community in need of quality housewares and clothing. Has low priced items for the general public. Proceeds benefit people in our housing programs.

Every other Tuesday throughout the year, we host a community gift center for the distribution of food and clothing. Anyone from the community is encouraged to schedule an appointment to receive food according to family size and clothing as needed for men, women, and children
