The EC operates as a centralized service hub open 7 days a week for Manchester residents facing housing instability. They provide essentials like showers, bathrooms, meals, and clothing. On-site local providers assist with substance abuse treatment, mental health support, medical care, housing navigation, and employment services. The objective is to dismantle barriers to housing such as missing vital records, identification, income, and challenging histories related to housing, credit, and criminality. Housing Opportunity Center for adults experiencing homelessness. The day center has computers, phones, food, connections to benefits, & outreach supplies available. *Mobile health van is here from 3 pm - 5 pm on Wednesday.

Our place offers 3 services to the public: *A Drop-In Center for people who need shelter during the day, a telephone, fax and computer to use for local or long-distance communications, and a shower and rest room for personal care. *A dining room where people are offered healthy, hot meals and a safe place to socialize with other people in the community. *A Food Pantry that is set up like a small grocery store and provides a choice of foods from the main food categories: grains, proteins, vegetables, fruits (including 100% fruit juice); miscellaneous shelves with items such as salad dressing, salsa and muffin mixes; and personal care items. There is also a baby food section that is kept fully stocked with jars of baby food, formula and some sizes of diapers.

Use of computer, telephone and Internet access for housing and job search. Can use the address of the center for applying for benefits or jobs. Mail distribution. Showers, coffee, snacks, readers. Connect to other community services like mental health, physical health and veterans services. Help applying for benefits.
