RSVP finds rewarding volunteer opportunities for people age 55+ (primarily). Many, varied opportunities are available, and we will start new projects to suit your needs. Services by volunteers most frequently focus on health and wellness (including osteoporosis prevention, health information distribution, healthcare and senior living agencies, food security and independent living). We also place volunteers in schools to increase literacy for children and adults, and many other areas of community need.
RSVP Caregivers provides transportation for medical or basic needs for frail elderly or disabled persons. Volunteers may also choose to provide visitation and companionship, telephone reassurance or assistance with small tasks.
