Pathway Towards Independence | FAMILY PROMISE OF GREATER CONCORD
Family Promise provides temporary shelter to families with children who are experiencing homelessness. Shelter is provided via host congregations that provide space and meals in their buildings. Case management services are provided at the Resource Center, where families also have access to a shower, laundry, computer/internet access to search for housing and employment.

Application process
Complete an initial screening on our website, followed by phone call to set up an in-person appointment for an interview. Applicants must undergo a Criminal Background Check and drug screening. The entire screening process take 5-7 days based on national background check.

Homeless families (meaning there has to be at least one parent with a child) Can be a pregnant woman Drug & Alcohol free No Active Domestic Violence No recent felony or violent felonies of any kind Actively seek employment & housing while in the program and meet with case management Must have transportation Participate in financial budgeting program - must save 70-90% of income.
