The intensive outpatient day treatment program is a collaboration between Southeastern New Hampshire Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services and Goodwin Community Health Center. The program provides substance use disorder treatment to women who are pregnant, or have children and are in need of intensive treatment, but not able to utilize inpatient treatment. Working with Goodwin Community Health Center, SENHS provides an intensive outpatient program, while Goodwin Community Health Center provides support services to address prenatal and child care services as well as adjunctive behavioral health services. Transportation and child care services are available to women who need them in order to attend the morning clinical program. The program is a three phased, intensive outpatient program, comprised of group therapy sessions, lectures on all aspects of addiction and recovery, relapse prevention education, child development and parenting information, and networking into the community of recovering women.
