CONSUMER REGULATION | NH DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY

The Consumer Services and External Affairs Division acts as a mediator to resolve disputes between customers and regulated utility companies. Assistance is available with setting up payment plans with regulated utility companies. The Division provides information on rules and regulations governing utility companies, including winter disconnection rules. Assistance is also provided on filing a formal complaint. *The Division does NOT provide direct financial assistance for bill payment.
