DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND BRAIN INJURIES | THE MOORE CENTER
The Moore Center serves two main groups of people, those with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities and Acquired Brain Disorders for adults and children. - Adult Services for Age 21 years old and older includes: Residential Services, Community Based Services, and Employment Services. - Children Services for Ages 3 to 13 includes: family-directed, supports and services that assist families such as respite, consultation, information and referral and "In Home Supports," a specific waiver service. - Children Services for Ages 14 to 21: Services includes: Family Support Services, transition from the school system to adult services; we help those who are 18 or older to identify and apply for appropriate state and federal benefits; and we work with young adults who want to live in the community and need minimal supports to maintain their independence..
