The Portsmouth Housing Authority (PHA) provides subsidized housing for families, elderly and people with disabilities. The housing is for low and extremely low income individuals and families. ***Currently there are waiting lists for all housing and housing programs. Locations of elderly/disabled housing: The following are 62+ only:
  • Atlantic Heights: 40 Bedford Way, Portsmouth, NH
  • Connors Cottage: 5 Junkins Ave, Portsmouth, NH
  • Lafayette School: 100 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, NH
The following are designated for 62+ OR individuals with disabilities:
  • Margeson Apartments: 245 Middle Street, Portsmouth, NH
  • Feaster Apartments: 140 Court Street, Portsmouth, NH
  • State Street Apartments: 940, 946, & 948 State Street, Portsmouth, NH
  • Pleasant Street Apartments: 438 & 444 Pleasant Street, Portsmouth, NH-
  • Woodbury Manor: Manor Drive, Portsmouth, NH
