The Board of Mental Health Practice licenses healthcare professionals through a system of licensure standards of practice, competency and regulatory oversight. The Board's mission is to assure that the services provided by mental health professionals are effective, and to safeguard the consumer against harm that may be caused by unqualified, impaired or unlicensed practitioners.
