The Board of Land Surveyors was established to regulate the licensing of land surveyors and the practice of land surveying in New Hampshire. To develop and maintain the ethical, professional and educational standards for the licensure of land surveyors. In order to safeguard property and to promote the public welfare, the practice of land surveying in this state is declared to be subject to regulation in the public interest. The Office of Professional Licensure and Certification (OPLC) provides administrative support to professional Licensing Boards, Commissions and Councils responsible for licensing and regulating their professions within the State of New Hampshire.
