Offers counseling services to veterans with readjustment issues and helps veterans navigate the Department of Veterans Affairs system. Other services include alcohol and drug assessment, and suicide prevention referrals. Bereavement counseling services are available to: surviving parents, spouses, children and siblings of servicemembers who die of any cause while on active duty, to include federally activated Reserve and National Guard personnel.

Eligibility

Veteran, or family member of a veteran, served in any combat zone and received a military campaign ribbon (Vietnam, Southwest Asia, OEF, OIF, etc.) Bereavement counseling is offered to parents, siblings, spouses and children of Armed Forces personnel who die in the service to our country. Also eligible for bereavement counseling are family members of Reservists and National Guardsmen who die while on federally activated duty.
