1. Professional crisis counselors provide intervention, information, literature, and referrals to thousands of emergency, social service, and support resources. The Childhelp Hotline crisis counselors can NOT make the child abuse report for you, but will help you through it. 2. Calls can come from: abused children, children at risk for abuse, distressed parents, individuals who suspect that child abuse may be occurring.
