SCSEP is available to low-income individuals age 55 or older who are unemployed and have poor employment prospects residing in Belknap, Merrimack and Rockingham counties. SCSEP provides participants part-time work-based training in a wide variety of community service activities at non-profit and public facilities, including day-care centers, senior centers, schools and hospitals. The placements average 20 hours a week, and are paid minimum wage.
