DHHS Hearing Officers handle all administrative appeals. The Administrative Appeals Unit (AAU) hears appeals from any individual applying for or receiving services from DHHS, from any facilities that are licensed or certified by DHHS, or any other matter within the jurisdiction of DHHS.
