Eligibility
Emergency shelter is available to anyone without a safe alternative place to stay, and without the means to rent suitable shelter. All services are provided on a space-available basis.
We ask that you provide a photo identification that will verify your identity and last address, if you have one.
Individuals with felony convictions for arson or sex offenses are not eligible for services and we may complete a police background check.
This is not a medical facility. All individuals must be able to independently manage their activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, getting out of bed or chair, showering, and using the toilet. Staff may limit the stay of person(s) from outside New Hampshire and southern York County, Maine.
For anyone who does not meet eligibility standards, staff will assist with referrals to public and community resources to make arrangements for other shelter or appropriate services.

Shelter for at least 78 indidvuals adults and 12 families. Shelter is low barrier and does not require sobriety to enter. Safe behavior is expected and alcohol or illicit substances are not allowed on site. Curfew is 9:30 pm and quiet hours at night are from 10PM to 6AM.
Shelter residents are provided with: access to on-site medical care, and case management assistance to connect with housing, benefits, mental health and substance abuse treatment, job search help, family support services, employment, and more. Meals, laundry, showers and limited clothing assistance provided.
