ONLINE PEER SUPPORT COMMUNITY FOR SURVIVORS AND RESPONDERS OF COVID-19 | DISASTER DISTRESS HELPLINE
This is a private and safe space for anyone who identifies as a survivor or responder of the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes, but is not limited to, healthcare workers, emergency responders, parents and caregivers, educators, individuals who have lost loved ones, people who are dealing with "Long-haul COVID", those impacted by job loss or economic hardship during the pandemic, and anyone else who has been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a group where members can obtain resources/support and openly share anything that is going on in their lives that may be impacting them. Our community includes trained peer supporters who are available for confidential discussions via Facebook Messenger and Wall-Posts. We also offer 24/7 crisis support through our affiliated crisis center via crisis support over messenger.

The Disaster Distress Helpline provides confidential crisis counseling and support to people experiencing emotional distress related to natural or human-caused disasters. Contacts to the DDH can call, text, or call from their videophone device, or click "ASL Now" on the DDH's website, 24/7/365.
