KREM is designed to respond to individual crisis situations through appropriate referral or through emergency aid funds. KREM stewards respond to referrals from local churches, schools, social or private agencies and local or state governments. KREM can be of assistance when individuals or households have experienced: Unexpected loss of income Accidental Injury or serious illness Major crises which threaten children or families Other critical situations for which no other help is available Note* KREM is unable to assist with rent payment
