Garden plots made available at no cost for income eligible families to grow their own nutritious foods. *What We Provide 25’ x 25’ rototilled & boundary-staked plots Well water from a spigot (no hoses or sprinklers allowed) *What You Provide Seeds & seedlings Watering can or buckets Gardening tools, fertilizers and materials Pest control if needed Regular weeding A minimum of 75% of all gardening space will be reserved for low-income applicants free of charge and the remaining plots will be made available to other interested community members for a donation of $20. The growing season each year closes at the end of September.

The mission of Southern NH services is to provide activities designed to assist low-income participants (including the elderly poor) to secure and retain meaningful employment, attain an adequate education, and make better use of available income; to ameliorate the causes of poverty within our community; to meet urgent and immediate individual and family needs; including health, nutrition, housing, and employment related assistance; and to address the problems and barriers which block the achievement of self-sufficiency.
