Age restriction- 7-18 years Resident of 19 towns/city jurisdiction of Keene District Court Not eligible if: Prior court involvement - youth with current or past CHINS or delinquent petition; A current /pending abuse and neglect case; Currently involved in diversion or court program; Fire starting; Involvement with weapons; History of violent behavior; Active chronic substance abuse resulting in severe social, family or legal problems; Harmful behaviors to self or others.

Call ahead; Walk in; Referral from school, a police officer, concerned people working with the youth, the parent, or the youth themselves.

Pre-CHINS Diversion Program offers information and referral, as well as case management and advocacy to youth who are truant, or who chronically disobey the lawful commands of their parents or guardians, and their families who are at risk of filing a CHINS (Child in Need of Services) petition in District Court.
