Mayhew challenges and helps at-risk New Hampshire boys to believe in themselves, work well with others, and find their best. It is the only all-boys program in the state that combines school-year mentoring and a residential summer program for at-risk boys, tuition-free, through high school graduation.

Application process

Referral needed, if you think your child qualifies, reach out to one of the approved officials below. Mayhew accepts referrals from principals, teachers, counselors, social workers, and other youth officials from many areas throughout New Hampshire from mid-January to mid-March each year.

Candidates for Mayhew are 10- or 11- year old New Hampshire boys from single parent, low-income families. Must reside in one of the areas served
