Granite Advantage Health Care Program is a New Hampshire Medicaid program that provides health insurance coverage to low-income adults at little or no cost. It replaced the New Hampshire Health Protection Program (NHHPP)

DHHS is responsible for many of the regulatory, programmatic, and financial aspects of NH's health care system and plays a key role in the planning, delivery and financing of health care. It provides social and support services to families with chronically ill or disabled members and to families in crisis. DHHS also provides economic supports including child care funding, financial grants, employment support services, medical assistance, food assistance and child support services.
